Hey Candace,
Thank you for all you’ve done for Jacob. He became ill his freshman year of high school. He spent most of his day in bed and had the terrible headache continuously. I prayed for healing. I never dreamed he’d be able to go away to college and participate on an athletic team. Thank you for your guidance, encouragement, and support through this journey of his. I wanted to send you a pic of him signing his intent to be a part of track team at Bethel University. Right before the pic, I disclosed his lyme disease to the coach who told me, “Don’t get me wrong, I love to win. But, I didn’t sign Jacob just because he’s a good athlete. I signed him for the person he is and what he will bring to the team.” I feel like this is his 2nd chance at life. I’m looking forward to him sharing his first months away at college with you in October.
Blessings,
Kristi Kavicky

Wonderful story. Candace deserves the recognition.
Candace has given my daughter her life back. My daughter is playing tennis again and we are traveling. She’s an A student and looking forward to the future. Of course she’s still in treatment and has bad days. But my little girl is alive and living.
